Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor

 

Last night I watched the first couple episodes of the new FOX show Alcatraz.  I hadn’t heard of it before last night, but decided to give it a shot since I’ve been to Alcatraz and it was pretty fascinating, not to mention that it’s always cool to see places you’re familar with on the teevee.  The show seems to be J.J.Abrams affiliated and stylistically similar to LOST.  There’s a mysterious happening, there’s people with questionable motives, and you get the same string music in the background.  I liked it enough that I’ll give it a shot for a while. Oh, and it also has Parminder Nagra in it. I’ve always had a bit of a crush on her.  I was a big ER nerd and thought she was a great addition to the cast.  She seems to straddle this line of sexy and adorable that I can’t quite put my finger on (but I’d like to!).  And that accent?  Unf. As a result of thinking about it last night, she also managed to infiltrate and make a brief appearance in one of my bizarre dreams.  It somehow involved study or research, but also car chases and a gun-battle through a hotel (I was playing MW3 last night too).  There was a bit of flirting as well, though.  I remember that part distinctly.   I kinda liked it.
