Day 22 - A song somebody has sung to you
Ed Helms - Stu’s Song (The Hangover)
Guy’s don’t tend to get serenaded all too often, unless it’s ironically or for gags.
Case in point. My co-worker J and I were on a business trip when The Hangover was in theatres and ended up going to see it. We laughed so hard we nearly pissed ourselves. In particular, we liked how Zach G’s character told the groom how he had his back in Vegas, even if he killed somebody. (It was funny to us because another co-worker, B, had approached J and I when he first started and basically said the same thing, which became a source of constant mockery)
Anyway, J likes to sing. Not especially well, mind you. He likes to do the rock songs, like Axl Rose….the long extended, fluctuating screaming notes. You know the ones. He’ll break one of those out at the most inopportune times. Like when he’s leaving you voicemail. Or over the intercom. It’s kind of hilarious.
For weeks after seeing the Hangover, J would sing Stu’s Song to me. Repeatedly.
The end.

This song’s been stuck in my head literally all day.
Just play it. Seriously. Do it.
