I hated Guardians of the Galaxy comics and this movie is going to blow. I cannot believe that they went this direction for the next set of Marvel Comic to Movie cash-ins. The only thing positive I can say about this is - at least they aren’t fucking rebooting a series for the ninety bazillionth time. Though, I don’t see how this is much better.

I’m still having a hard time deciding which is going to be worse - this or Ant-Man. I’m still leaning toward Ant-Man.
I’m assuming everyone here has read the 2008 Guardians of the Galaxy series and didn’t like it. I haven’t read it, but have heard it’s quite good. I’m reserving judgement.

I found out today that the mere sight of an elephant in the wild can being tears to my eyes. Yes, I am such a wuss, but I am animal-loving wuss - so there.
Anyways, that aside, here’s a fan art of Jamie McKelvie’s redesign of Captain Marvel, the title now held by Carol Danvers, formerly Miss Marvel. How cool and elegant is that outfit? For some strange reason it makes me want to hum the Saber Riders theme song.
