Peter Cetera - Glory of Love

This was a hard one to decide on, because it’s a broad era wherein I explored a number of musical tastes. Basically, I’m spanning the entirety of the 80’s with this one, so there was some experimenting with Weird Al, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Metallica, Bon Jovi, and so many more.

But, if I had to boil it down, I think Peter Cetera is the card I’m going to play. Something about his songs of love and the nature of his voice created a perfect storm of inspiration that set my imagination afire with daydreams of hope and heroism. Whether it be his songs with Chicago, his duet with Amy Grant, or this song from the Karate Kid II soundtrack, I just loved me some Peter Cetera.

On cassette.

Because that’s how I roll.

And/or it was the only way it was readily available at the time.

Enjoy.
